One of the bands that I have come to love over the years is Over the Rhine. Such good musicians. Ironically, I didn't know too much about them until I moved away from Cincinnati (they are from there..and are actually named after a poorer section of the city). They played a small blues club in Phoenix, and some friends and Kira and I went to see them.
